Chandrayaan-3 Spacecraft Takes Off with Satellite, Lander, and Rover:
On Friday, at 14:35 (which is 09:05 GMT), the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, which has a satellite, a lander, and a rover, launched from the Sriharikota space center.
The Chandrayaan-3 (lunar) mission has been going well so far. The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was launched on July 14 and successfully entered the path around the Moon on August 5. On August 17, the Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander separated from its moving part, getting ready for its attempt to land.

Successful Progress of Chandrayaan-3 Mission:
India’s spacecraft landed on the moon safely at 6:04 p.m. local time on August 23. After the US, the former Soviet Union, and China’s lunar mission.
Russia’s Luna-25 spacecraft crashed on August 19 while trying to set up for a landing on August 21.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft had “scripted a new chapter in India’s space odyssey”.
The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who has visited France recently, wrote on Twitter that the mission is carrying the “hopes and dreams of our nation.”
India successfully landed a Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft near the moon’s south pole, making it the first country to do so.
Lunar Orbit and Lander Preparation:
India’s spacecraft, which didn’t have any astronauts on it, landed around 8:33 a.m. ET (1233 GMT or 6:03 p.m. India Standard Time). Eastern time close to the moon’s south pole. This area attracts the interest of many countries because it contains water in the form of ice in craters that are always dark.

Not long after the lander landed, the Indian space agency shared a picture of the moon’s surface taken from the spacecraft. But they didn’t tell us how well the vehicle was doing.
A report in India states that the vehicle has sent out a rover. But there is no official confirmation of whether the rover is operational or not. The plan involves the rover working for approximately 14 days to analyze the composition of the moon’s soil and rocks.
Sreedhara Somanath, who leads the India Space Research Organization, said, “India is now on the moon.” He said this while Prime Minister Narendra Modi watched and waved an Indian flag.
