First Pakistan China feature film
BA’TIE GIRL which means “Dost Larki” in Urdu, first Sino-Pak feature film directed by Jin Yang film launching ceremony was held on 4 August.

In Islamabad, something important is happening. China and Pakistan have been working together for ten years on something called the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This is a big deal, and to celebrate it, a special movie is coming out. The movie is called “Ba’tie Girl,” and it’s the first film made by both China and Pakistan. It’s about the strong friendship between the people of Pakistan and China.

BA’TIE GIRL, the joint film from China and Pakistan, which revolves around the strong bond between the people of these two countries, had its grand premiere at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).

Hunerkada Film joint production department with China

People who love movies in both Pakistan and China are really excited about “Ba’tie Girl.” This movie tells a great story about friendship, dreams, and playing football really well. It has an IMDb rating of 8.4 and is about 90 minutes long (1h 30m).

The movie is about a lady, Lu You. She was a famous football player from China, but she had to stop playing because she got hurt. When she was feeling sad about this, she went to a small village in Pakistan. In that village, she met some young girls who wanted to play football. She decided to help them achieve their dream.

Parliamentary Secretary appreciated Hunerkada Films for their hard work in creating the very first co-production movie. During the event, the Cultural Counselor from the China Embassy mentioned that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a means to connect the people of both countries together.
